19/05/2016 - API Advisory 6 Revised to Include API 20A and 20F

Design and Development Exclusion 2 May 2016 updated API Advisory 6, Design and Development Exclusion, to include API Spec 20A and API Spec 20F as specifications within the Monogram Program that are eligible for the exclusion of design and development activities from the quality management system. A PI Subcommittee (SC) 20 has determined that design and development activities are not essential to manufacture products that conform to API Spec 20A or API Spec 20F. In accordance with API Spec Q1, Section 1, the design and development activities under API Spec Q1, Section 5.4 can be excluded from the applicant/Licensed manufacturer’s quality management system.
