25/02/2018 - API Specification 16A Fourth Edition CHANGE DATE

Specification for Drill-through Equipment API Announce there is a change to the effective date for the 4th Edition of API Specification 16A, Specification for Drill-through Equipment, published in April 2017 and Addendum 1 The Effective Date of this edition has been changed from February 1, 2018 to April 1, 2018. Relating to SPOOLS and ADAPTERS: the Task Group has moved these requirements into API Spec 16A so that the products legitimately need to be tested to API Spec 16A requirements. Since no products under API Spec 16A are design excluded as per Advisory 6, these products would require a design as well.
